Terms of Service
Last updated: 7 July 2026
These terms are a contract between you and PriceAnvil ("we", "us") covering your use of priceanvil.com, the PriceAnvil dashboard, and the embeddable quote calculator widget (together, "the Service"). By creating an account or embedding a calculator you agree to them. Questions: support@priceanvil.com.
1. What the Service is
PriceAnvil lets you build an instant-quote calculator, embed it on your own website with a script snippet, and collect the quotes visitors request as leads in your dashboard. Quotes shown to your visitors are calculated from the prices and rules you configure — they are your estimates, presented on your behalf.
2. Your account
- You must provide a valid email address and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- One person or business per account. You must be at least 18 and using the Service for business purposes.
- We may suspend accounts that breach these terms, abuse the platform, or create risk for us or other users.
3. Plans, billing and cancellation
- Free plan — one calculator, unlimited quotes and leads, with a "Powered by PriceAnvil" badge on the widget.
- Pro plan — £19/month or £190/year (prices include VAT where applicable), billed by Stripe. Pro adds unlimited calculators, badge removal, CSV export and custom branding.
- Subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel any time from the dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period and Pro features remain active until then. We don't offer partial refunds for unused time, except where the law requires.
- If a renewal payment fails we will retry; if it continues to fail your account returns to the Free plan (your calculators, settings and leads are kept).
- We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next billing period.
4. Your content and your leads
- Your calculator configurations, branding and leads are yours. You give us the limited licence needed to store them, display them through your widget, and operate the Service.
- For the personal data of people who request quotes through your calculator, you are the data controller and we act as your processor (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and contact your leads and for your own privacy notice on your website.
- Uploaded assets (logos, fonts) must be yours to use. Custom fonts must be licensed to you for web use.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to mislead consumers, collect data for purposes unrelated to quoting your services, send spam, infringe others' rights, probe or disrupt the platform, or resell the Service as your own. Automated flooding of quote submissions is blocked and may lead to suspension.
6. Availability and support
The Service is provided "as is". We work to keep it fast and available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, and we may update features over time. Support is by email at support@priceanvil.com.
7. Liability
- Quotes produced by your calculator are estimates generated from your own configuration. We are not a party to, and accept no liability for, any transaction between you and your customers, including disputes over pricing.
- To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in any 12-month period is capped at the amount you paid us in that period. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost business.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
8. Ending the agreement
You can delete your account at any time (this deletes your calculators and leads). We can terminate with 30 days' notice, or immediately for serious or repeated breaches of these terms. On termination, embedded widgets stop serving.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. For material changes we will email account holders at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law in your country of residence gives you additional protections.
